Minecraft build planner: design your own build in 3D
Draw each layer from above, watch it grow in 3D, then build it with the guide!
Plan a Minecraft build in 3D: tap the side of a block to put a new block there, like in the game, or draw each layer from above. Builds can be up to 32 blocks wide, 32 deep and 32 layers tall (32,768 blocks at most). What you need counts every block, and the guide shows where each block goes in your world.

Your build in 3D
Draw some blocks and your build shows up here. Drag to spin it.
Let's make something!
Make it real
Build it with the guideFiles for the game and a print sheet
Ask a grown-up to help put a file into the game. In Creative, a .litematic or .schem loads with a building mod, and a .mcstructure loads with a structure block.
What you need
64 blocks = 1 stack. Playing in Creative? You already have every block.
How it works
- Draw the floor. Tap the ground in the 3D view to put down the first blocks, or draw the floor from above (Plan from above). Every square is one block.
- Build up. Press "+ Layer" for the next layer. "Copy layer below" makes walls go up in one tap; then erase a door and windows. The faint squares show the layer below.
- Build it. Press "Build it with the guide". It shows one layer at a time, the next blocks to place in yellow, and saves how far you got.
Everything happens on this device: no account, nothing is uploaded. Grown-ups: the share link holds the whole drawing in the address, so it opens the same on any computer.
Questions
Can I design a Minecraft house online for free?
Yes. Place the floor, press Copy layer below to raise the walls, take blocks away for a door and windows, then add the roof one layer at a time. It is free, needs no account and works on phones.
Can I make a schematic of my build?
Yes. Download your design as a .litematic or .schem file for Java Edition, or a .mcstructure file for Bedrock Edition.
How do I plan a Minecraft build?
Build it in the 3D view by tapping where each block goes, or draw it layer by layer from above: the floor first, then each layer on top. The 3D view shows the whole build while you draw, and What you need counts every block. Then follow the build guide layer by layer.
How big can my build be?
Up to 32 blocks wide, 32 blocks deep and 32 layers tall. That is big enough for a house, a tower, a ship or a castle gate.
Can I put my build in my world?
Yes. Follow the build guide in Survival or Creative, or download a .litematic or .schem file for Java Edition, or a .mcstructure file for Bedrock Edition, and ask a grown-up to help load it.
What does "floats in the air" mean?
A block that touches nothing else. In Survival you cannot place a block in mid-air, so Pip tells you to place a helper block next to it first.
