For grown-ups
SeedView is a free building helper for Minecraft players. Children pick a build, see every block and build it layer by layer. Here is what it does and doesn't do.
Hi grown-ups! Here is how I keep it safe.
Safe by design
- No accountThere is no sign-up and no login. We never ask for a name, an email or an age.
- No uploadPictures for pixel art are read inside the browser. They never leave the device. Builds are made on the device too.
- No chat, no commentsNobody can send your child a message here, and there is no public gallery.
- No pop-ups or tracking adsNo pop-ups, no video autoplay and nothing to buy. There are no adverts today. If we ever add some, they will be child-safe, never personalised and never inside the builder.
- Anonymous visit countsWe count page visits with our own copy of Umami: no cookies, no profile, no tracking across sites.
- Sounds are offThe little sound effects only play if your child switches them on with the speaker button.
What is saved on this device
Everything below stays in this browser (local storage). Nothing is sent to us.
- My builds: the builds your child pressed Save on (shape, size, block)
- Progress: which blocks were ticked as placed, per build
- Lists: the "I have it" ticks in What you need
- Settings: day or night, sounds on or off, Simple or Expert mode, recent searches
Putting a build into the game
The easiest way works everywhere: build it by hand with the layer guide. It works in Survival and on consoles.
On a computer, files can paste a build in. Mods like Litematica or WorldEdit are installed by a grown-up. Commands and structure blocks need cheats, and cheats turn off achievements in that world. On Xbox, PlayStation and Switch you can't add files, so we show the build guide instead.
