Reference code and test data
Used only to test that our own engine is right. None of it is copied into the site.
| Source | Licence | Used for |
|---|---|---|
| Circle-Generator by Jesse Donat | MIT | our tests compare every circle and oval from 1 to 64 blocks with a port of its rule; same rule, our own code |
| OEIS A057655 | CC BY-SA 4.0 (data used for testing only) | number of lattice points in a circle; checks our filled-circle counts |
| Sharma, Wu and Dalal (2005), CIEDE2000 test data | published test data | checks our colour-difference maths for pixel art |
| Björn Ottosson, OKLab (2020) | public domain / MIT | colour space for matching image colours to blocks |
Block colours
The flat block colours are our own measurements: the average colour of each block face, computed from the game files on our own computer for Java 1.21.1 (checked against 26.3). We store and ship only the resulting numbers, never textures or other game files.
Documentation we checked facts against
- minecraft.wiki: structure block sizes, /fill limits, coordinates, version history
- Microsoft Learn: Minecraft Creator docs: Bedrock structures and the /structure command
- EngineHub WorldEdit docs: schematic folders and commands
- Litematica wiki: loading schematics
