Short version: no accounts, no tracking cookies, no selling of data. Your builds stay on your device.

Visit statistics
We count visits with our own self-hosted copy of Umami, an open-source, cookieless analytics tool. It records the page, the referring site, the browser type, the device type and the country (worked out from the IP address, which is not stored). It sets no cookies and does not follow you to other sites. We use the totals to see which tools and pages people use.
Your builds and images
- Shapes are computed in your browser. Share links hold the shape settings in the address, nothing else.
- Build-mode progress (which blocks you marked as placed) is saved in your browser's local storage on your device. Clearing your browser data removes it.
- Images you open in the pixel-art tool are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to us.
- Export files are created in your browser and downloaded straight to your device.
Server logs
Like every website, our web server keeps short technical logs (time, address requested, IP address, browser) to keep the site running and to stop abuse. They are not used for profiling.
Ads
The site shows no ads today. If we add ads later, they will be:
- child-safe, and non-personalised: no tracking and no profile of you or your child;
- never pop-ups, and never inside the builder or the build mode;
- named first: this page will say which ad provider is used and what it collects before any ad appears.
Where the law requires it, you will be asked for consent before any ad cookies are set.
Children
Many builders are young. We don't ask for names, emails or any personal details, and there is nothing to sign up for.
